Today on a working visit to Bavly municipal district Farid Mukhametshin started series of open lessons devoted to 105th anniversary of the Russian Parliament. Chairman of the State Council met senior school children, youth organizations activists, teachers of history and social sciences as well as his young colleagues – deputies of the Children District Duma.
“Our aim is to involve more young people in activities of representative authorities,” Farid Mukhametshin told seniors. “Today much is being said about all-rounded training of the most active and talented youngsters able to become politicians in the future.” Chairman of the State Council said about the main milestones in the development of Russia’s parliamentary system, activities and structure of the Tatarstan parliament, touched upon the problems of reformation of the modern Russian educational system. He named the main requirements that any future politician should comply with: “to be challenging, intelligent and trained, to know laws, to be able to argue one’s position, to be positively minded and to aim all oratorical gift at realization of the ideas of your party.”
During his working visit to Bavly municipal district Farid Mukhametshin also visited local bread factory, Central municipal hospital, took part in the United Russia’s local party conference held to hear the report and elect new officials. In his speech, Secretary of the Tatarstan regional branch of the United Russia party Farid Mukhametshin tried to steer the activity of local party members. He called on Bavly citizens to look for effective solutions of local social and economical challenges. Among the priorities are to raise business activities in the villages, to create conditions for the development of small and medium business, to add new positions to the list of services that local business can offer.
