Today Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Secretary of the Tatarstan branch of the United Russia faction Farid Mukhametshin met with First Vice-Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party Andrey Turchak. Head of the Central Election Commission of United Russia Alexander Sidyakin also took part in the meeting, which was held in the republican parliament.
The parliamentarians discussed the main activities of the Tatarstan regional branch of the United Russia party, the implementation of party projects and the execution of the requests received from the citizens during the past election campaigns.
The meeting was held within the framework of a one-day working visit of Andrey Turchak to Tatarstan. The Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party took part in the 34th conference of the Tatarstan regional branch of the party held in Kazan. He also visited the Federal Center of the Development of Digital Competences of United Russia, created on the basis of the Tatarstan branch of the party, and Kazan Lyceum № 131.
