Consul General of People's Republic of China in Kazan Wu Yinqin: Tatarstan plays leading role in development of interregional cooperation

On May 4, 2017, Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin met Consul General of People's Republic of China in Kazan Wu Yinqin.

Farid Mukhametshin congratulated Wu Yinqin on the official opening of diplomatic representation in Kazan and expressed hope that it would be a new step in development of Russian-Chinese relations. He said that Chinese provinces for many years had been in close cooperation with Tatarstan in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The interparty Dialogue of the Communist party of China and United Russia was held in March in Kazan, including business forum which led to new economic agreements. Both parties highly evaluated these forms of cooperation.

Wu Yinqin said that it is a great honor for him to work in Kazan. "Interaction between our states are at the highest level," he said. "Tatarstan plays leading role in development of interregional cooperation within the framework of Russian-Chinese relations."
