On February 10, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin met with Special Representative and Coordinator of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Madina Jarbussynova. During the meeting the officials exchanged opinions on topical issues.
In the beginning of the meeting the Speaker of Tatarstan Parliament briefed the high guest on social and economic development of the republic, giving a special emphasis to the stability of social and political situation in the region.
Special Representative and Coordinator of the OSCE for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Madina Jarbussynova informed Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council about the purpose of her visit and the activities of the international human rights organisation.
