On January 27, Farid Mukhametshin met with teachers of history and social sciences, who were invited to the State Council to discuss organization of the Parliament lesson-2017 devoted to the republican Strategy-2030.
Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin started the meeting with a short review of the Strategy-2030. "This important document is not just an economic plan, we need it as a plan of action for successful social and economic development of the whole republic. The republic for the first time has adopted a scientifically based and detailed program as a law. It covers a long period of time - up to 2030. It's not a random choice - otherwise it's impossible to get serious results, in the first place in the economy. All other spheres of life depend on the economical development: if the economy is successful there will be incomes to the budgets, possibility to solve social issues, build and repair schools, kindergartens, clubs and gyms. "
Speaking about the high mission of teachers, Faird Mukhametshin attracted the attention of the auditory to the necessity to rise the formative functions of school. "You give children knowledge and must help them to choose their direction in creative and professional development. Unfortunately, school has been lately made almost a service provider. Many traditions were cut, subsequently the prestige of teacher's profession has dropped. The enlightening mission of the profession is almost forgotten, especially in rural districts. We need to bring school back to a righteous place in our society."
In Farid Mukhametshin's opinion teachers greatly contribute to Tatarstan's success. "Every time visiting schools I realize that you give all your efforts to teaching and educating children," Farid Mukhametshin said. "You give children your energy, you create school parliaments. And children become more creative, investigative, active. We are sure that it's your mission to bring the Strategy 2030 ideas to children's minds. We have adopted this program for them! They should find their place in it. And we should think together how to make it happen!"
