Today the International scientific-practical conference “The Earth Charter is a practical tool for solving fundamental problems of sustainable development” opened in Kazan. It was devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Earth Charter principles practical use in the Republic. The Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin participated in the plenary session.

Farid Mukhametshin: “Festival “Balkys” brings together best cultural traditions |

On October 22, 2016, gala concert of IV Republican festival of amateur performers among veterans "Balkysh-Siyanie" was held at the Tatar State Philharmonic Hall. Welcoming the participants, organizers and guests of the event on behalf of the Tatarstan leadership, Chairman of the State Council, Chairman of the organizing Committee Farid Mukhametshin noted that festival united a huge number of active and highly motivated people.

New Parliamentary center opened 10 years ago |

The opening ceremony took place on October 12, 2006. 10 years ago first Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, Parliament Speaker Farid Mukhametshin and Premier Rustam Minnikhanov cut the symbolic ribbon in front of the Plenary Chamber Hall.
